Physiotherapy:
Physiotherapy involves assessing injuries or sources of pain in order to determine a diagnosis and treatment plan aimed at remedying sources of dysfunction and/or pain and returning the client to the activities they enjoy most.
Massage Therapy:
Massage therapy involves physical manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. At Physiotherapy Plus, our Massage Therapist offers: Traditional Swedish Massage techniques, applied sports massage myofascial therapy, soft tissue release, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and hydrotherapy.
Bracing:
We carry a full line of diverse and quality braces for all body parts/injuries, designed to aid our clients (in conjunction with appropriate physiotherapy treatment) back to daily activities, work and sport.
Gym Programs
For clients wishing to partake in a personal gym program (specific to your needs) under the careful supervision of a trained exercise specialist.
Vestibular Rehabilitation:
Rehabilitation for those with balance and dizziness issues, including vertigo.
WorkSafe and Motor Vehicle Assessments:
Physiotherapy assessments for those who have suffered physical injury as a result of a workplace or motor vehicle accident.
Sports Rehabilitation:
Sports Rehabilitation and conditioning programs are designed to help anyone remain active in their sport or recreational activity. Injuries are assessed and treated with the specific goals of the client in mind and an extensive exercise program is developed to help prevent re-injury and enhance performance.
Rehabilitation Products:
Pillows, balance boards, portable massage units, TENS machines, traction units, exercise balls and equipment.
Concussion Management:
Assistance with retraining cognitive, visual, vestibular, and cervical issues for full function and progression from rest period to full recovery
Functional Dry Needling:
A therapeutic modality aimed at reducing trigger points and allowing better muscle function.
Home Visits:
Home visits may be arranged for those who are unable to attend in-clinic sessions.
